Under $25

Mak Sauvignon Blanc – $12
Marlborough, New Zealand
An expressive and affordable NZ Sauvignon that screams of freshly cut grapefruit and dashes of lemon zest.

Burguns Albarino – $13.95
Rias Biixas, Spain
Albarino is a white varietal known to have quite expressive fruit and considerable body. Very outgoing on the nose, with tropical notes, and bright apples and pears on the palate. Crisp and refreshing!

Las Brisas – $11
Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura

Rueda, Spain
A dry white from the middle of Spain, with racy acidity and tropical fruit pieces, all topped off with a dash of nuts. Sip away the days of summer with this pretty bottle on your patio table!

Familia Aranda Cabernet Sauvignon – $10
Maipu, Argentina
A nice, light-bodied Cab with perfumed plums and big red cherries. If you don’t want to shell out for a Napa Cab this time, try the Maipu Cab!

Domain des Rozets Coteaux du Tricastin – $10
Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault

Southern Rhone Valley, France
A red blend of great finesse, with bright strawberries and raspberries engulfing the nose, followed by a silkiness in the mouth and a touch of earth in the finish.

Forth “All Boys” Cabernet Sauvignon – $22.95
Dry Creek Valley, California
A super juicy Cabernet, with an undeniable masculinity in the strong tannic structure — playful red berries and a sprinkle of milk chocolate.

Jacques Rouze Quincy – $16.95
Loire Valley, France
Just southeast of Sancerre, this area produces delicious Sauvignon at a terrific price. Citrus fruits combine nicely with the crisp minerality.

Garaudet Bourgogne Blanc – $19.95
Burgundy, France
This is no basic white Burgundy — 100% Meursault fruit that exhibits true qualities of that village — rich minerality, paired with bright apple and pear notes, and a creamy finish.

Santorini Argyros Atlantis White – $18.95
Grapes: Asyritko, Athiri, Aidani Aspro

Greece
From a tiny island in Greece, this wine gets its only irrigation from the fog lifting off the sea — a definite saltiness to this wine, along with impressive minerality and pineapple.

Villa Calcinaia Chianti Classico – $19.95
Tuscany, Italy
Chianti Classico is the original heart of Chianti, and is still considered the premium area of production, about the seven other subzones. This one is very silky, with a touch of dusty earth and red cherries.

Babcock Syrah “Black Label Cuvee” – $22.95
Santa Barbara County, California
Fittingly named “black” for its intense dark fruit and bacon and tar characteristics in the nose. Concentrated and satisfying!

Qunito do Crasto Red – $18.95
Grapes: Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional

Douro, Portugal
Portugal is making some quality table wine, and their region and climate is very California-esque. Same grapes as the infamous Port wines, but more bright and fresh. Supple cassis fruit with suburb complexity!
